The main ways to select objects, traps, or borders include:
- Using a mouse click—this is especially useful for adding or removing one item from your selection.
- Drawing a marquee—this is especially useful for selecting or removing a text string, several items at a time, or an entire page.
- Using the contextual menu—this is especially useful for selecting items that share one or more attributes, such as color, transparency, or overprint status.
All of the PDF trapper selection methods can be used together to build a selection list in either the Properties Editor or the Properties Viewer.
For each selection method, clicking in the Acrobat window selects the closest item. You can add objects, traps, and borders to the same selection list.
Check the properties of a selected item in the Properties Editor/Viewer.
