Use this utility when you have a new installation of Preps on your computer, such as Preps 9, and you would like to migrate your settings from Preps 6 or earlier to this new version. You can run the utility at any time.

  1. Shut down any instances of Preps running on your computer.
  2. Start the Preps Migration Utility from the Preps 9\Utilities\Preps Migration Utility folder.
  3. In the Source Preps Location area, browse to the previously installed copy of Preps.exe or the Preps application file.
  4. In the Destination Preps Location area, browse to the newly installed Preps.exe or Preps application file.
  5. Perform one of the following actions:
    • Click Add All to migrate all settings.
    • Select certain settings only and click Add to migrate them.
  6. Click Migrate.

We are developing the Preps Migration Utility tool for 64 bit operating systems. In the interim, please visit Manually migrating from an earlier version of Preps v9.0.

Cet utilitaire vous permet de migrer les paramètres de Preps 6 ou version antérieure vers une nouvelle installation de Preps, comme Preps 9, présente sur votre ordinateur. Vous pouvez exécuter cet utilitaire à tout moment.

  1. Fermez toutes les instances de Preps en cours d'exécution sur votre ordinateur.
  2. Lancez Preps Migration Utility depuis le dossier Preps 9\Utilities\Preps Migration Utility.
  3. Dans la zone Emplacement de l'installation source de Preps, accédez à la copie précédemment installée du fichier Preps.exe ou du fichier d'application Preps.
  4. Dans la zone Emplacement de destination de Preps, accédez au fichier Preps.exe ou au fichier d'application Preps nouvellement installé.
  5. Effectuez l'une des opérations suivantes :
    • Cliquez sur Ajouter tout pour migrer tous les paramètres.
    • Sélectionnez uniquement les paramètres souhaités, puis cliquez sur Ajouter pour les migrer.
  6. Cliquez sur Migrer.
