The Digital Submit software has been designed to be used by several different types of users, such as customer service representatives or other job roles who receive customer orders and need to add digital print jobs into the Prinergy system. They know which type of digital press to target the job based on the job and customer requirements. The Digital Submit software can also be used by digital print operators, who may need to create digital print jobs. All of these users can manually create digital print jobs easily, without having to use Workshop.
Configuration and workflow environments
The types of digital presses and automated production targets that are listed in the Digital Submit window are based on your workflow system and business needs, such as the different types of digital presses that you have or if your workflow system uses automation. Due to these factors, your system administrator or manager may provide you with guidelines to follow for creating jobs.
The ability to run the Digital Submit application is licensed by the Digital Print license in Prinergy Administrator.
