Why you should complete this activity

A process is a group of tasks used to make input files ready for output. A refine to PDF process converts input files to PDF. This activity demonstrates how files can be refined using a hot folder.

What you'll learn

You will learn how to refine an input file (in this activity, a PostScript file) to PDF using a hot folder. Following the refine process, you will view the PDF file in Acrobat.

What you'll need

In the location to which you extracted the activity files, find the Activity 04 folder and this file: Sales Flyer.ps

What you'll do

You will create a hot folder connected to a refine process plan. You will use the hot folder to refine a PostScript input file into a PDF file. You will then view the PDF file using Acrobat.
