After you have characterized the color response of a device in a device condition, you can view its color response type in the Process Inks Response Type column in the Measurements tab of the Measurements dialog box.
The following table descriptions each color response type:

| Tonal only | Obtained by measuring a Tint Ramp or Tonal only chart. Supports only Tonal Match calibration curve generation. |
| Gray Balance only | Obtained by importing a P2P chart measurement that does not contain density or spectral measurement data. Supports only Gray Balance calibration curve generation. |
| Gray Balance and Tonal | Obtained by measuring a P2P chart. Supports Tonal Match and Gray Balance calibration curve generation. |
| Full Color and Tonal | Obtained by measuring a Full Color and Tonal chart. Supports all calibration curve generation methods and device profile and DeviceLink generation. |
| Full Color only | Obtained by importing a Full Color and Tonal chart measurement that does not contain density or spectral measurement data. Supports only Gray Balance calibration curve generation, and device profile and DeviceLink generation. |
