  1. If it is not already open, start the Pandora software.
  2. Perform one of the following actions:
    • From the File menu, select New.
    • In the Pandora toolbar, click the New icon: 
  3. In the Select Job Template dialog box, click None.
  4. From the Pandora menu (Mac) or Edit menu (Windows), select Preferences.
  5. In the Preferences dialog box, click the Die Settings tab.
  6. In the Snap Artwork to Die area, select the Use Trim Box from Artwork preference. 
  7. From the Window menu, select Show ShopMap palette.
  8. On the ShopMap palette, select the Substrate tab, look for an existing substrate that is at least 30x40 in., and drag it into the layout view.
    If a substrate does not exist, create one. 
  9. From the File menu, select Import > Die.  
  10. Locate the Hungry Cat Carton.CF2 die file, and click Open.
  11. From your Finder window (Mac) or Windows Explorer (Windows), locate this Hungry Cat Carton artwork:
    • Hungry Cat Carton 1.pdf 
    • Hungry Cat Mirror-Horiz-Wbleed.pdf
  12. Drag the artwork to the Content tab.
  13. Select the Layout tab .
  14. In the Work Style area, select Sheet Wise.
  15. From the Window menu, select Show Marks palette.
  16. In the SmartMarks folder, locate CB_6-color_2-tier.pdf, open the mark, and ensure that its Side Placement is set to Both Sides. Then drag the mark to the layout.
        
     
  17. Open the SGL_Sideguide_Wedge.pdf, ensure that its Side Placement is set to Both Sides and its Mirror setting is set to Mirror on Back. Then drag the mark to the layout.
  18. Open the SGR_Sideguide_Wedge.pdf, ensure that its Side Placement is set to Both Sides and its Mirror setting is set to Mirror on Back. Then drag the mark to the layout.
  19. Select the CAD file.
     
  20. Drag the artwork Hungry Cat Carton1.pdf to the layout.
    This will automatically snap the back artwork to the die.
     
  21. From the Object menu, select Flip Side
  22. Select the CAD file. 
  23. Drag the artwork Hungry Cat Mirror-Horiz-Wbleed.pdf to the layout.
    This will automatically snap the back artwork to the die.
     
  24. Select the Layout tab, slide the transparency slider for the Current Side, and notice the alignment of the front and back sides.
  25. Use the procedure from Activity 3, Objective 5 to save the file and create PDF output, using Activity Six Sheetwise as the file name.
  26. Open the PDF file and proof the final layout. 
  27. Close the layout window.
