You can open and view the following file types
- Single 1-bit TIFF files (or LEN files, which TIFF Assembler Plus software automatically translates into TIFF files when you open them)
- Several TIFF files that represent the color separations of the image, opened one on top of the other to display the composite image
While previewing, you can perform the following actions:
- Rotate or flip the displayed TIFF file, or invert its colors
- Zoom in and out of the image
- Measure the distance between two points in the image
- View information about the file
- Generate a PDF file that contains information about the previewed files
- Get information about the average tint value, mesh (frequency) and angle of a rectangular area in the TIFF file
- Modify a separation's display color values
- Compare TIFF files to see where they differ
- Use various editing commands to modify selected areas of the TIFF file
- Create a single 8-bit TIFF file that combines multiple 1-bit TIFF files (all the separations of your job) into a single 8-bit TIFF file, which you can proof for content on any proofer
- Apply a calibration curve to the file
- Apply descreening to the file
- Define spot colors or modify the values of a spot color
- Switch to layout mode and add the previewed TIFF files to a new or an existing layout
