Some digital presses support a special toner, which is typically a fifth print station on the digital press. It is usually used to highlight specific areas on the print and provide special effects on the printout.
In this activity, you will map a single spot color to the special toner High Gloss Clear. If the digital press supports only one additional channel, only one spot color should remain in the PDF that is sent to the digital press.
In the three procedures below, you will learn how to convert all the other spot colors in the PDF to process colors by Prinergy, so that the only remaining spot color in the PDF, is the spot color that should map to the extra channel on the digital press.
