Color map imposed PDF pages

  1. Select the Separations view.
  2. View the color separations for the front and back of Signature 1.
  3. From the A Front 1 imposition, select the PANTONE 2726 separation.
  4. From the Edit menu, select Color Separations.
  5. In the Color Separation dialog box, map the PANTONE 2726 spot color to Cyan (using the Output Selected as list). Click OK.
The PANTONE 2726 spot color has disappeared from the Separations view.
Note: To review the process of mapping spot colors, consult Activity 7.
Converting the spot color to a process color at this stage in the workflow will not change the color make-up of the originally refined PDF pages. The recommended stage to map spot colors is during the refine process. If you need to make quick adjustments, for example, press changes, this method is an accepted workaround.
