Use the edited rule set

In this task, you will add an input file to Job Manager, which will trigger the rule to automatically refine the input file and generate loose page VPS proofs.

1. In Job Manager, right-click the Input Files pane and choose Add Input Files.
2. In the Add Input Files dialog box, select Job Folder and locate UserDefinedFolders/Input Files/Prinergy Connect Brochure.pdf.
3. Select Prinergy Connect Brochure.pdf, and click the Add Selected button to add the file to the Files to Add list.
   Note: In the Options section, verify that the Process Selected Files Using Process Template check box is cleared.
4. Click OK.
5. Monitor the automated refine and loose page output processes.
6. In the Pages pane, right-click Prinergy Connect Brochure.p1.pdf and choose Open VPS files. The Prinergy VPS software opens the PDF page for proofing.
7. When the proofing process is complete, close VPS.
8. In the Pages pane, select all refined PDF pages. Right-click a selected page, and choose Delete Page.
9. In the Input Files pane, right-click the input file and choose Remove Input.
