The following describes how to create loose 1-up artwork output that includes ColorFlow color control elements. In this example, you will edit an existing Prinergy VPS software loose 1-up artwork output process template to enable ColorFlow.
The recommended practice is to create an established ColorFlow output process template, however, for the purposes of this task, an established process template will be temporarily edited. The edit will be lost after the process is complete.

  1. In Job Manager, select all PDF in the 1-Up Artwork pane.
  2. Right-click a selected PDF 1-Up Artwork and choose: Loose 1-Up Artwork Output > Virtual Proof > Virtual Proof.LoosePage
  3. In the Start Process dialog box, click Edit Process Template.
  4. Enable the ColorFlow section. View all available options.
  5. In the Device Name list, select sample proofer.
    Note: If you do not see the sample proofer and its device condition, activate the Show all print devices option.
  6. In the Device Condition list verify that the sample condition is selected:
    sample resolution, sample substrate, Inkjet Proofer - Matchprint Inkjet, CMYK
    This sample condition is shipped with the Prinergy system.
  7. Open the ColorConvert section.
  8. Enable the Match Colors in 1-Up Artwork Content option.
  9. Click OK.
  10. In the Start Process dialog box, click OK.
  11. Select and right-click the refined the 1-Up Artwork PDF and choose Open VPS files.
    The VPS software will automatically open and display the PDF containing the ColorFlow color setup data.
  12. Close Prinergy VPS.
