Scenario
You want to create a fully automated workflow that will result in the creation of final output files.
The first step is to create loose page PDF rule sets.
You will create a folder in your Prinergy job to store final output TIFF files created during the final output process.
You will then create a final output process template that will generate final output TIFF files and store them in that designated output folder.
Then, you will build three separate rule sets that will process independent PDF pages:
- Rule Set 1—refines an input file added to a job and allows the approval of PDF pages to a desired state
- Rule Set 2—creates a loose page proof (VPS) if a page is approved
- Rule Set 3—deletes a PDF page if it is rejected. An e-mail will be sent with the rejected page attached.
