- In the desired Discarded sublayer, select the object that you want to retrieve.
Note: To select an object, you must first return focus to PDF Merge by clicking the Prinergy PDF Merge button on the toolbar. You can then click an object to select it.
There are several ways that you can select objects.
The following figure shows an object selected in the Discarded from <originalfile>.pdf layer. The selected object is indicated in purple.
Tip: Selected objects are highlighted in the color indicated on the Selection Highlight Color toolbar button. If desired, you can change the highlight color. To do so, click Selection Highlight Color and then in the Color dialog box select the desired color and click OK. The toolbar button changes to display the new highlight color. - Click the Move to Output layer toolbar button, or right-click (Control-click on a Mac computer) the object, and select Move to Output Layer.
The selected object disappears from the Discarded sublayer and appears in the corresponding Output sublayer.
For example, the two figures that follow show the selected object removed from the Discarded from <originalfile>.pdf sublayer, and retrieved to the Output from <originalfile>.pdf sublayer.
