Use the Proof process template to generate proofs of individual pages.
Use the loose page output process template to output unimposed pages to an available device to create proofs. The loose page output process template controls the layout of the unimposed pages on the output media.
You do not need to assign pages to a page set or add an imposition before you generate loose page proofs.
If your job has more spot colors than your proofing device can support, reduce the number of spot colors using the Color Output dialog box, which you can open by clicking the Color Mapping button in the Start Process dialog box.
To generate loose page proofs:
- In the Pages pane of the Pages view, select the pages.
- Drag the selected elements onto a loose page proof process template in the Process Templates pane.
- In the Start Process dialog box, click OK.
