Zoom in

to reduce the magnification of the image.
A zoom level is a ratio of the number of pixels on the computer screen to the number of pixels in the image. For example, a zoom level of:
- 8:1 means an 8x8 grid of pixels on the computer screen is used to represent 1 pixel in the image.
- 1:1 means that 1 pixel on the computer is used to represent 1 pixel in the image.
- 1:4 means 1 pixel on the computer screen is used to represent a 4x4 grid of pixels in the image.
The samples below show three zoom levels of an example 300 dpi image.

All images are initially displayed at a 1:1 zoom level unless Zoom to Fit Window when job opened is selected in the navigation preferences.
- In Mac OS, the current zoom level appears in the lower-left corner of the main window.
- In Windows, the current zoom level appears in the lower-right corner of the main window.
