In this discussion we will focus on the items relating to the tools available to help focus the visual that the system has generated based on the search performed.


NOTE: This is a generic introduction to help familiarize yourself with the core components available.
Items that are specific to a particular Dashboard will be discussed in greater detail within each specific Analytic offering.



The rightmost panel for all Dashboards contains filters to help you hone (focus) in on the query you are looking for.

To make adjustments to what the dashboard may currently be reporting, simply change the filter options. By making a change to any of the appropriate items, the system will refresh the Dashboards to reflect the changes.

Depending on the Dashboard Type, the Filter options may vary.

Options include:

  • Date range - Use the From: and To: fields to define the range you need.
    • Simply type in the date range in the format DD/MM/YYYY.
    • Click in the field to get a pop-up calendar.
    • Use the slider bubbles to move left or right to focus the Date range.
  • Division / Plant / Prinergy Server- Depending on the number of sites, press locations, and PRINERGY servers, make these selections to isolate as much as needed.
  • JTP Type (as shown) - Change the items in the list to change the focus to one or many JTP's.
  • To clear (reset) the Filters, click on the eraser icon () in the top right by the Date.

Effective use of filters will make your life easier to find what you need when you need it.
