You must add the schema (XSD) file that you created for info sheets to RBA using the XML Schema Manager. Then, you associate it with the XSLT file that you created to translate the info sheet XSD file into the PLA format.

  1. In Workshop, select Tools > Rule Set Manager.
  2. In Rule Set Manager, select Tools > RBA XML Schema Manager.
  3. Click Add a Schema, and perform the following steps:
    1. In the Name box, give your schema a distinctive name so that it is easy to find.
    2. In the Schema File box, locate the XSD file that you created for InSite info sheets.
    3. In the Transform File box, locate the XSLT file that you created to translate InSite XML to the PLA format.
    4. Click Add Schema.
  4. Check that your schema is working correctly in RBA:
    1. Obtain a sample XML file.
If you created sample XML files during the configuration of Prepress Portal, you can use the latest version located in your test job Control folder at \\<jobserver>\Jobs\<Job>\Control\VersionedJobInformationSheets\<Version-Id>.
    2. In RBA XML Schema Manager, click Test next to the name of the schema that you added.
    3. Test your schema against the InSite XML file, and make sure that the values appear in the correct fields and that RBA reads the file successfully.
