  1. How do you edit an editable text mark?

    a. Drag the mark to the artwork, position as needed, and make certain the mark is selected.
    b. In the Mark Properties dialog box, make necessary text changes.
    c. From the Object menu, select Bind Mark to Artwork.
    d. From the Object menu, select Apply to All.

  2. How do you convert a simple mark to a SmartMark?

    a. In the Marks palette, select Edit or double-click the mark.
    b. In the Marks Settings dialog box, click Convert to SmartMark.
    c. Make SmartMark selections.
    d. Click Save As and provide the mark with a new name.

  3. How do you import custom user marks?

    a. Select the User marks folder.
    b. From the Marks palette, click Import Mark.
    c. In the Import Mark dialog box, browse to and select the custom mark.
