You can import several types of color library files into Kodak Proofing Software with Open Connectivity Kit.

You can export color library files from a number of different workflow systems in the following supported software and color library formats:

  • Kodak Proofing Software with Open Connectivity Kit—Prinergy (.dat)
  • Prinergy software—Prinergy (.dat)
  • Prinergy Evo software—Prinergy (.dat) or CGATS.5 (.txt)

You can import CMYKW color libraries into Kodak Proofing Software when the software is connected to an Epson Stylus Pro WT7900 printer. Otherwise the import process fails.

  1. Ensure that the \\<controller name>\HotFolders folder is shared.
  2. On the computer on which you are running Proofer Viewer, mount a drive to the \\<controller name>\HotFolders
  3. Copy the color library file to the following location—\\<controller name>\HotFolders.
  4. In Proofer Viewer, from the Configure menu, select Color Database Editor.
  5. Click Import.
  6. Locate the \\<controller name>\HotFolders folder, and select the color library file.
  7. In the Import As box, type the name for the color library that you want to appear in the User Libraries
  8. Click Import.

The color library appears in the User Libraries list.
