Before beginning the Prinergy Evo activities, you must connect to the Prinergy Evo JobData and Hotfolders shared file server volumes with Mac OS X, create a new folder in the JobData shared file server volume, and copy the activity files into the new folder.
- Connect to the shared file server volumes on your Prinergy Evo server.
- From the Go menu, select Connect to Server.
- In the Connect to Server dialog box, in the Address field, type the IP address of your Prinergy Evo server. The service representative installing your Prinergy Evo system or your system administrator can identify this address.
- In the Connect to the file server dialog box, type your user name and password, and then click Connect.
- From the list of available shared file server volumes, select both JobData and HotFolders and click OK.
- The JobData and HotFolders icons will appear on your desktop.
- The JobData shared file server volume is where you will store most files used in the Prinergy Evo workflow. The HotFolders shared file server volume is where you will find the hot folders that you use in your Prinergy Evo workflow.
- Open the shared JobData volume on your desktop.
- Create a new folder on your Prinergy Evo JobData shared file server volume and assign a unique name.
For example:JobData\[Your Name]. - Download the ZIP archive with the activity files from Partner Place Answer ID xxxxx to a location on your workstation.
- Drag the ZIP archive to your new folder and extract the folders that contain the files for each activity.
- Confirm that you can access the files.
