Packaging Mode Preferences

Use the Preferences tabs to set default settings for different operations. These default settings are activated each time you start the software.

1. Select Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Prinergy VPS+ > Preferences (Mac)
2. If not already in Packaging Mode, go to Preferences > Mode and select the Packaging Mode radio button. (If you are currently in Commercial Mode you will not be able to view these options. You will have to first select the Packaging Mode preference, then press OK to close the Preferences panel and switch the mode. Select Preferences again to display all the Packaging Mode options. 
3. In the left pane of the Preferences dialog box, click an item to display its options and current settings in the Preferences pane

   • Mode
   • Marks
   • Layout
   • Unassigned Files
   • Advanced
   • Files
   • Cut (for plate-cutting files)
   • Job Planning (for corrugated jobs)
   • Sleeve Planning (for continuous sleeve jobs)
   • Plate on Sleeve Planning (for plate-on-sleeve jobs)
   • PDF (for submitting to prepress software)
   • Calibration
   • Descreen
   • Dot Enlargement Tags
   • VPSPLUS Language
4. Edit the default settings as needed, and click OK.
