If you are using the Certified Process for Color Confirmation, the following items work together:
- Media configuration
- Proofer ICC profile
- Simulation ICC device link profile
Each media configuration is associated with a default proof ICC profile. Each proof ICC profile can work with a number of simulation ICC device link profiles.
To readily identify which media configuration and ICC profiles are associated with each, apply consistent naming conventions that reference the applicable resources. For example, all related resource names should use consistent abbreviations for the following components:
- Proofer name
- Proofer type
- Media
- Resolution
