The Matchprint Inkjet proofing solution purchased determines the type of workstation that will run the server component of Kodak Proofing Software. The use of client workstations is optional. Brief descriptions follow—see also the applicable specifications.
Matchprint Inkjet proofer controller
Also known as KPS controller, proofer controller, or server.
For systems purchased directly from Kodak, the currently-shipping workstation is a business-class Dell OptiPlex (Windows 10), configured for reliability, high performance, and efficient use of disk space.

Client workstations, as needed
Customers are responsible for providing the client workstations. A proofer client workstation can be used to submit files and access the Controller software for one or more MPI proofers. (Other computers in the network can also be used for basic file submission via hot folders.)

Important: For VOE (Virtual Operating Environment), Kodak does not provide the license for Microsoft operating system. The licenses can be purchased through a Microsoft reseller of your choice.

KPS 10 and later require 4 CPUs and a minimum of 16 GB RAM.
Storage requirements
KPS 10 and later requires a minimum of 250 GB storage space (with at least 100 GB free space).
