Screening an object or group of objects

You can change the screening for a selected object or for a group of selected objects.

1. In the Acrobat window, select the object (or objects) that you want to apply screening to.
2. From the Screen list in the Properties Editor, select the screen instance you want to apply. 
    
   If you select From Process Template as the screen instance, DotShop does not apply screening. Screen settings in the output process template will be used instead.
3. (Optional) Specify a calibration curve.
4. (Optional) Adjust the colorant screen angles.
5. Click Apply.

DotShop applies the screen instance, calibration curve, and colorant angles shown in the Properties Editor to the selected object or objects. The outline of these objects changes from green to red (or the highlight colors you set in DotShop preferences), indicating the objects have DotShop screening applied.
Note: When applying a screen instance to an object with a spot color in it, DotShop automatically applies the default angle to the spot color if no other angle is selected.
