Using the Properties Editor, you can manually change screen angles for an object's colorants. If Allow Plug-in to change CMYK screen angles was selected when a screen instance was created in DotShop Composer, you can change screen angles for its process colors as well as its spot colors. If not, you can only change screen angles for its spot colors.

  1. In the Acrobat window, select the object (or objects) that you want to apply screening to.
  2. In the Properties Editor, in the Screen list, select the screen instance you want to apply.
  3. (Optional) In the Calibration Curve list, select the calibration curve you want to apply.
In the Properties Editor, the list of colorants is displayed, along with their tints and assigned screening angles.
  4. Click a colorant's screen angle and select an angle to apply.

  5. Click Apply.

DotShop applies the colorant angle shown in the Properties Editor to the selected colorant.
