You can set up a hot folder that lets you manually adjust the color of proofs using curves (also known as color gradation).

Curves adjust only CMYK colors, not spot colors or RGB colors. Spot and RGB colors must be converted to CMYK colors to use this feature.

  2. In the Setup File Input dialog box, set the following options:
    1. In the Name box, type a name for the hot folder.
    2. Select the file input type—Hot Folder
    3. In the Media Configuration list, select a media configuration.
    4. In the Layout list, select a layout that is not set up to use the Certified Process for Color Confirmation. These layouts lack a check mark icon.
