  1. The server administration software starts Prinergy primary server. The Araxi Service starts various daemons and Extreme Coordinator.
  2. Based on input from the user via Workshop, Prinergy Workflow asks Prinergy primary server to perform an action on a Prinergy job, for example, to normalize PDF input files.
  3. Daemons in Prinergy primary server work together to assemble a job ticket for the requested action and submit it to Extreme Coordinator.
  4. Extreme Coordinator forwards the job ticket to the appropriate JTPs.
  5. JTPs perform workflow steps in a sequence determined by Extreme Coordinator. As the job ticket is processed, JTPs report back to Extreme Coordinator. Extreme Coordinator is always aware of the current status of the job ticket and of the JTP to contact next.
  6. When the job ticket has been processed, Extreme Coordinator informs the appropriate daemons in Prinergy primary server.
  7. Daemons update the database to reflect the current status of the job and related files, including any new system files in the job folder.
