  1. On the Actions tab, locate Refine Input File: Prinergy Actions > Input File Actions > Refine Input File
  2. Drag Refine Input File to the resulting Each Split event (next to the << icon).



    In the previous task, we defined the items to be split as single pages, so this means that each page will be refined separately.

  3. Double-click the red line separating the event and the action. The Rule Parameters Editor dialog box opens.
  4. In the Rule Parameters Editor, click the red text (Enter a Value) in the Process Template Path box.
  5. Click the Edit Value icon to access the Parameter Value dialog box.
  6. Select Refine > Refine > 1stRef-Normz, and click OK.
  7. On the Flow tab, locate the Next action (under Loop Actions).
  8. Drag Next to the resulting Success & Warn event. This means that if the refine process is successful, the refine action will now be performed on the next page, even if the 15-minute delay time has not passed.
  9. On the Actions tab, locate Create Preflight PDF Report: Prinergy Actions > Page Actions > Create Preflight PDF Report
  10. Drag Create Preflight PDF Report to the resulting Warn+Error event, for the Refine Input File action. This means that if the refine process was not successful, a Preflight PDF report will be created, explaining what went wrong.
  11. On the Actions tab, locate Email: System Actions > Email.
  12. Drag Email to the resulting Created event.
  13. Double-click the red line separating the event and the action.
  14. In Rule Parameters Editor, click the red text (Enter a Value) in the To box.
    The activity scenario suggests that you would send this e-mail to the CSR. For the purposes of this activity, type your own e-mail address.
  15. Click the red text (Enter a Value) in the Subject box. Type a subject line, for example, Loop flow practice.
  16. Click in the Body box, and type any text that you want to appear in the body of the e-mail.
  17. Click in the Attachments box.
  18. Click the Edit Value icon to access the Parameter Value dialog box.
  19. On the Event Properties tab, select Report File and click the Add to List button. Click OK



  20. In Rule Parameters Editor, click OK. View the rule.
  21. On the Flow tab, locate the Next action, within the Loop group.
  22. Drag Next to the resulting Sent event. 
    This means that after the e-mail (with the Preflight PDF report attached) is sent, the refine action will now be performed on the next page, even if the 15-minute delay time has not passed.
