Certified Process for Color Confirmation
Select to enable the Certified Process for Color Confirmation and the following caption options—Proofing System, Media Configuration, ICC Profiles, Proofer Model, Proof Creation Time, Calibration Check Time, and Proof Name and ID.
If this option is selected, the following options must also be configured: Measuring spectrophotometer, Color Bar, Label
Use color bar
Select to include a color bar on the proof or sheet. This option is required for Certified Process for Color Confirmation layouts. For all other layouts, it is optional.
Print label with
Identifies how the color bar measurement results will be printed. This option is required for Certified Process for Color Confirmation layouts.
- Dymo Labelwriter—uses the Dymo Labelwriter to print labels
- Proofer—uses the proofer to print labels directly on the proof; available for the Epson Stylus Pro 7900 and 9900 proofer with inline spectrophotometer; available if one of the following options is selected in the Measuring Spectrophotometerlist: Inline M0, Inline M1, Inline M2, Inline, or Inline UV.
Color bar
Identifies the color bar to be used. This option is required for Certified Process for Color Confirmation layouts. For all other layouts, it is optional.
Caption
Adds a caption to the layout. This option is required for Certified Process for Color Confirmation layouts. For all other layouts, it is optional.
Click the Options button to select which information to include in the caption.
Note: For oversize images or images that will require rotation, captions can cause unexpected and possibly undesirable results. If you encounter issues and captions are required, do not use the Layout Editor setting to apply rotation to oversize images. Instead, apply rotation manually on the hot folder’s Output Settings tab (open connectivity) or in the process template (direct connectivity).
Positions
Displays the Mark Positions dialog box for placing the caption, label, and color bar, if selected.

Checks whether the layout is compatible with the Certified Process for Color Confirmation
