What is a Create CEPS process template?

Use the CEPS output process template to output converted PDF pages to CEPS pages in either Scitex CT/LW or industry standard TIFF/IT format.
Before converting the PDF files to CT/LW or TIFF/IT files, you must make sure that the resolution of the CT/LW or TIFF/IT files matches the output device resolution. Otherwise, artifacts will appear on the final output.
Therefore, before you the CT/LW or TIFF/IT files to the output device, output the file at the same resolution as the output device on which you will image the file. For example, if you are have a Lotem 400 device that images at 2580 dpi, the CT/LW or TIFF/IT file must be output at 2580 dpi.
At the top of the dialog box is the Output To list, which you use to select the file format suitable for the output device. The file format selection determines the availability of some options in the CEPS Output process template. For this reason, you should select an output format before you set the other options in the CEPS output process template.
