A JTP system pool is a group of one or more similar JTPs that have been grouped to further automate your workflow. Use JTP pools to direct Prinergy Evo software to automatically distribute tasks to individual JTPs, saving you the work of manually coordinating the JTPs. Within a pool, tasks are distributed in the JTPs according to priority—the top priority process is sent to the first available JTP in the pool. This helps you automatically process multiple files at the same time and guarantees that the top priority processes are completed first.
A JTP pool can include only JTPs of the same type (JTPs that perform the same task). For example, you cannot have an Refine JTP in the same pool as an Output JTP.
Use the JTP Status dialog box in the Prinergy Evo Client software to add and remove JTPs from pools.
