Selecting Harmony value %% AUTO %% in the output process template Print Curve list control allows CMYK and independent  spot color curves to be selected in the same process template by virtue of a shared Harmony Medium value. This is required because Harmony CMYK Curves, One Curve and Spot Curves are independent, but can have the same Medium property value.

In ColorFlow, CMYK curve channels are grouped with any number of spot color channels in a single Print Curve. Follow the steps below to group curve for each process template that has Print Curve %% AUTO %% selected.

  1. In Workshop Process Template Editor:
    1. Open the process template.
    2. Open the Calibration and Screening panel.
    3. Record its Plate Curve selection and Harmony Medium value.
    4. Optionally close the process template without saving.
  2. In ColorFlow:
    1. Select the Print Curves tab.
    2. Import all Harmony curves if not already imported. See Importing a Harmony print calibration curve.
    3. Group all curves whose Medium value matches the process template Harmony Medium value into a new ColorFlow Transfer curve. See Grouping CMYK and Spot Harmony curves.
  3. In Process Template Editor:
    1. Open the process template.
    2. Open the Calibration and Screening panel.
