Empty Trash Schedule

Select the Delete Sheet check box and specify how long to leave sheets in the Trash before deleting them. You can specify the wait time in hours or days. Deleted sheets are removed from the system and cannot be reprinted.

Clear the Delete Sheet check box to leave sheets in the Trash, until disk space becomes low. When disk space is low, the system automatically purges sheets. To purge a sheet, the system deletes the high resolution file for the sheet, but leaves a reference to the sheet in the Trash. A purged icon displays beside purged sheets to indicate that you can no longer print the sheets. Purged sheets remain in the system until the Empty Trash Schedule expires.

Delete all sheets now

Immediately deletes all sheets in the Trash window in Proofer Viewer. The empty trash is unaffected and will continue to run as scheduled.

When you have many sheets in the trash, the system may be slow to reboot, and ProoferClient may be slow to start. You can delete all the sheets in the trash to improve these speeds. Keep in mind that the sheets are permanently deleted and cannot be retrieved.
