You can pause either the Processor queue or the Proofer queue at any time. Pausing the Processor queue ensures that no new proofs enter the processor once it is done processing its current proof. Pausing the Proofer queue ensures that no new sheets can enter the proofer once it is done proofing its current sheet.

While the queue is paused, you can move, delete, hold, or release items as normal. Pausing a queue has no effect on items entering a queue, only exiting. Pausing a queue has no effect on either the proofer or the processor.

  1. In the Proofer Viewer, click the Queues  button.
  2. In the Proofer queue or Processor queue, click the Pause  button.

The proofing software changes the  button to the  button, displays the Queue Paused message, and pauses the queue. The queue remains paused until you resume it.
