A layout plan provides layout information for proof, film, or plate output. Use layout software, such as Pandora, to assign art work to the press sheet and dielines (that is, add PDF files to the press sheet), and create a populated portable job ticket (PJTF). In other words, create a layout plan that contains layout information with links to the artwork content.

Alternatively, you can create a 1-up flat PostScript or PDF file.

In Prinergy Evo, create distilled PDF pages and assign the Prinergy Evo PDF pages to the layout plan in qualified layout software, such as Pandora 2.5 or later.

Output a PJTF file or 1-up flat PDF or PostScript file and submit it to Prinergy Evo. A PJTF file is created when real files (PDF pages) are included in the layout software and the generated PJTF file includes a path to the artwork PDF files on the Prinergy Evo Server. You can create a layout with composite files in Pandora 2.5 or later, saving to a PJTF file with the marks file embedded within the PJTF file.

Important: The PJTF file and its corresponding Marks.pdf file must be stored in the same location. If they are not, you will receive an error message when you submit the files. The PDF pages must be in a folder on a shared network volume on your Prinergy Evo server computer.
