Installation scenarios
You might install TIFF Assembler Plus software in any of the following scenarios:
- A single stand-alone instance
- As a site-license host or as a client served by the host
- Bundled with a Kodak Prinergy Workflow system

Microsoft Windows operating system
- Windows Professional versions 10, 8.1, 7 SP1
- Windows Server versions 2016, 2012, and 2008 R2
Apple Mac operating system
- macOS Mojave (10.14)
- macOS High Sierra (10.13)
- macOS Sierra (10.12)
- OS X El Capitan (10.11)
Note: Java 1.6 is also required, available at answer 73970.
Workstation space requirements
Required installation space
- On Windows—500 MB (minimum)
- On Mac—200 MB (minimum)
Space for operations
- 2 GB free space (recommended)
License dongle
TIFF Assembler Plus 4.2.1 and earlier is activated by a physical license dongle from Kodak. Note the possible installation scenarios:
- Stand-alone software requires its own license dongle.
- For software installed as either the host instance or a client instance under a site license, the license dongle is plugged in at the host workstation and shared via the company network.
- For software installed as part of a bundle, the license dongle must be plugged into the workstation that is running TIFF Assembler Plus.
Note: If prompted during software installation, always install the dongle driver (including at client workstations).
