VPS+ Defining preferences for default settings

Use the Preferences tabs to define the default settings for various software categories. These default settings are activated every time you start the software. Depending on which mode you have enabled in VPS general preference. The user will have different options available. Packaging mode offers more functionality vs. Commercial mode

1. Select Edit > Preferences. 
2. In the left pane of the Preferences dialog box, click a category to display its options and current settings in the main pane.
   
   • General
   • Marks
   • Layout
   • Unassigned Files
   • Advanced
   • Files
   • License 
   • Cut - Packaging Mode only (for plate-cutting files)
   • Job Planning - Packaging Mode only (for corrugated jobs)
   • Sleeve Planning - Packaging Mode only (for continuous sleeve jobs)
   • Plate on Sleeve Planning - Packaging Mode only (for plate-on-sleeve jobs)
   • PDF (for submitting to prepress software)
   • Calibration
   • Descreen
3. Edit the default settings as needed, and click OK.
