You need devices for measuring the imaged mask of the digital plate, the finished plate, and the printed substrate.
Kodak customers normally use transmission densitometers for measuring ablated masks; BetaFlex, VipFlex, FlexoCam, CCDot, or Quality Engineering Associates (QEA) Inc. devices for measuring masks and plates; and reflection densitometers for measuring print results.
