Name
Lists the names of the existing hot folders and virtual printers
Type
Identifies whether the item is a hot folder or virtual printer
Enabled
Identifies whether the item is enabled or disabled. Yes indicates that the item is enabled, and No indicates that the item is disabled.
State
Identifies when a hot folder is in error. A hot folder in an error state cannot be used. An error state can indicate a missing media configuration (or it may exist but is not enabled), ICC profile, ICC DeviceLink profile, or layout.
Delete
Deletes the selected hot folder or virtual printer; available only if the item has been disabled
Import
Opens the Import dialog box, where you can select a hot folder to import. The imported hot folder includes all resources, such as the media configuration, ICC profiles, ICC DeviceLink profiles, and so on, and it is ready to use.
Export
Opens the Export dialog box where you can specify the location of the exported hot folder. The exported file includes all resources used by the hot folder, including the media configuration, ICC profiles, ICC DeviceLink profiles, and so on.
Copy
Creates a copy of the selected hot folder or virtual printer
Edit
Opens the Process Settings dialog box for viewing or editing, as needed
Enable
Enables the selected hot folder or virtual printer for use. Enabled hot folders appear in Controller Viewer.
Disable
Disables the selected hot folder. You cannot use a disabled hot folder. Disabled hot folders do not appear in Controller Viewer. If you created a shortcut to the hot folder on your desktop, the shortcut disappears from the desktop (Mac OS), or appears in error (Windows). Enable the hot folder again to restore the shortcuts.
