When you select a screen instance in the DotShop window, the calibration curve that was associated with that screen instance when it was created in DotShop Composer appears in the Calibration Curve list in the Properties Editor.
If Allow Plug-in to Change Calibration Curve was selected when the screen instance was created in DotShop Composer, you can choose to apply a different calibration curve from the Calibration Curve list. If not, the menu is unavailable.

  1. In the Acrobat window, select the object (or objects) that you want to apply screening to.
  2. In the Properties Editor, in the Screen list, select the screen instance you want to apply.
  3. In the Calibration Curve list, select the calibration curve you want to apply.
    • If you select %%DEFAULT%% as the calibration curve, DotShop does not apply calibration. The calibration curve specified in the output process template will be used instead.
    • If you select %%NONE%% as the calibration curve, neither DotShop nor the output process template apply calibration. The "linear" value specified in the PDF file is used instead.
  4. (Optional) Adjust the colorant screen angles.
  5. Click Apply.

DotShop applies the calibration curve shown in the Properties Editor to the selected object or objects.
