To determine whether your Epson Stylus Pro printer is equipped with the latest inline spectrophotometer (ILS30), you can check the printer’s front panel or the EpsonNet Config utility.
Note: The EpsonNet Config utility is an optional program that you can download and install from your printer model’s support page on the Epson Web site.

Use one of the following methods:

Via the proofer front panel

  1. Press the front-panel Menu button.
  2. Press the down arrow as needed until you reach Options Setup.
  3. Press the right arrow as needed to select SpectroProofer and display the spectrophotometer description, including the ILS version.
If no ILS is installed, no information is available.

Via the EpsonNet Config utility

  1. Locate and start the EpsonNet Config program.
  2. Select the printer's Model Name.
  3. Click Launch Browser.
  4. In the navigation pane under Information, click Device.
  5. In the Optional Device Information area that appears, look in the Color Measurement Device Firmware Version row for the spectrophotometer description, including the ILS version. If no ILS is installed, the row is blank.
