Override color matches in refined PDF files:

  1. Create a output process template, for example, output from PDF or output from imposition.
  2. In the Spot Color Handling section, in the Source of Color Recipes area, in the User and Factory Library lists, select the user or factory library that you want to use to override the color matches in your refined PDF file.
  3. Set the remaining parameters as required.
  4. From the File menu, select Save.
  5. Submit the PDF file for output, making sure to attach the output process template you have just created to the hot folder or Template Palette that you are using to submit the PDF file.

Prevent your output file from overriding the color match settings:

  1. Create a output process template, for example, output from PDF or output from imposition.
  2. In the Spot Color Handling section, in the Source of Color Recipes area, in the User and Factory Library lists, select None.
  3. Set the remaining parameters as required.
  4. From the File menu, select Save.
  5. Submit the PDF file for output, making sure to attach the output process template you have just created to the hot folder or Template Palette that you are using to submit the PDF file.
