Prinergy Screening Tower (PST) for Packaging is a subset of the Kodak Prinergy Workflow tailored specifically for use as a screening tower. Prinergy Screening Tower for Packaging accepts plate ready PDF files for Flexcel NX output.
The Prienrgy Prinergy Screening Tower is designed for accepting press-ready PDFs from a 3rd party workflow as input and creating 1-bit TIFFs for Flexcel NX platemaking.
The PST for Packaging server is accessed through the companion client software that can run on the workstations, on which you typically perform regular prepress file production (the Mac or Windows-based computer at your desk) - you do not need to physically walk over to the PST for Packaging server to initiate, monitor, and view the results of processing tasks.
