There are several ways to magnify or reduce image areas in the TIFF Assembler Plus VPS+ software.

Use the Zoom tool to magnify or reduce a specific point or a specific area

 A specific point

To magnify the selected point, click Image Removed and Image Added and then click in the display window. To reduce the image, click Image Removed Image Added, hold down the Ctrl key (Windows) or the Command key (Macintosh), and then click in the display window.

To magnify a selected area, click Image Removed Image Added, click in the display window, hold down the left mouse button, and drag the mouse over the area on which you area on which you want to zoom in. To reduce the image, click Image Removed Image Added, hold down the Ctrl key (Windows) or the Command key (Macintosh), and then click in the display window. To move the area in zoom, click Image Removed and Image Added and drag the image.

Palette to magnify or reduce a specific area

To zoom in via the Navigator palette, drag the rectangle over the area that you want to zoom in on, and then drag the slider up. To zoom out via the Navigator palette, drag the rectangle over the area that you want to zoom out of, and then drag the slider down.

  1. Press the space bar to change the current tool into the grabber hand Image Removed Image Added.
  2. Click the mouse button and hold it down.
  3. Move the mouse to move the screen area displayed into the desired area.

Zoom to a specific magnification level 

You can change the display size of an image to a specific magnification level. Choose from 6%, 12%, 25%, 50%, 100% (1:1), 200%, and 400%1:512, 1:256, 1:128, 1:64, 1:32, 1:16, 1:8, 1:1,  2:1,  4:1,  8:1.

  1. From the View menu, select Zoom, then Zoom to.
  2. From the list, select the level of magnification that you require.
  3. From the list on the toolbar, select the level of magnification that you require, or type a magnification value.

Zoom to Fit All 

While in Commercial Mode, you can change the zoom level to have a file fill the display window. On the toolbar click Zoom to Fit Image Added.

While in Layout mode (only available in Packaging Mode), you can While in Layout mode, you can change the zoom level of an image a layout so that the entire image it fills the display window. The zoom level of all elements changes to show the entire layout: on the toolbar , click Fit click Fit All Image Removed Image Added

Fit Selection  

While in Layout mode (only available in Packaging Mode), you can change the zoom level of a selected element (a TIFF file in the layout) so that the element is displayed over the entire width or height of the display window.

  1. In the layout window, select an element that you want to zoom automatically to fit the display window.
  2. On the toolbar, click Fit Selection Image Removed Image Added.
