Use the CMYK curve to quickly adjust all colors, and use the cyan, magenta, yellow, and black curves to adjust individual colors.

After an individual curve differs from the CMYK curve, you can no longer use the CMYK curve for editing, unless you want to return the individual curve settings to the CMYK curve setting. Spot colors are not supported and remain unaffected by curve adjustments.

  1. In the Color Gradation dialog box, click a color icon to select which color to adjust.
  2. Perform one of the following actions:
    • Add points to curves.
    • Edit points on curves.
    • Delete points from curves.
    • If needed, click Default to return the graph to a straight line and erase your changes.
  3. In the Apply to list, identify whether you want to apply the color gradation curves to contone images, vector images, or both.
  4. Click OK.
