General options

1 per position

Specifies one mark per Proof or per Sheet

Position

Specifies the position of the MarkAutomatic TopBottomLeft, or Right

0,0 of Top and Left

0,0 of Bottom

0,0 of Right

Use offsets

Specifies whether to use offsets for each Mark. If Use offsets is selected, the offset length for the X and Y axis must be specified.

If some marks use automatic positions and some use offsets, marks using offsets are placed first, and then marks using automatic positions are placed.

Offsets are calculated from the same origin (Top BottomLeft, or Right) for every mark; therefore you must add the Size of each mark into your offsets. If your offsets are too small for the mark, they might overlap.

0,0 of Top and Left

0,0 of Bottom

0,0 of Right

When you use offsets, the software uses your offsets and does not calculate the size of marks to avoid overlapping.

Positive numbers move the mark away from the image and into the cell. Negative numbers move the mark into the image and away from the cell. Be careful your marks do not overlap or print on the image.

The sizes of the marks are based on the spectrophotometer used in the latest calibration. If you change spectrophotometers after the layout is designed and cause the sizes to change, you must adjust the offsets.

Size

Displays the size of each mark. The sizes are for your reference and cannot be changed.

Marks relative to options

Cell

Available for Grid only. Specifies that the mark should be placed relative to the cell in a multi-image proof.

Proof

Available for Grid only. Specifies that the mark should be placed relative to each proof in a multi-image proof.
