  1. Open the current version of the PLA Client software on your computer, and log on to the Prinergy Workflow primary server running PLA.
    You are prompted to synchronize your Client software with the version of PLA on the Prinergy Workflow primary server.
  2. Click OK.
    Your existing Client is upgraded to PLA 9.0.x.

Installing the PLA 9.0.x Client on VDI and AVD - Virtual Desktop Infrastructure

Requirement: PLA 9.0.x must be installed on your Prinergy Workflow primary server.

Note: ThePLA UI preferences folder is unique to each user, for example turning on and off certain visible columns. The folder is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Kodak\Layout Automation Client so that each user references and control their own properties file for the PLA UI.

  • From the Layout Automation Client folder, open the Layout Automation Manager.exe.config file with Notepad++(make sure you have File name extensionschecked in View), edit the value in the line of text VdiMode=2, save the file. The DefaultUser.properties location will be located at  C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Kodak\LayoutAutomationManagerso that each user references and controls their own properties file for the PLA UI.
