To include cutting information with your output, see VPS+ Cut preferences (Packaging mode).

  1. Select File > Output or click .
    If you selected Edit > Preferences > Layout > Enable the position of elements outside layout area and any part of the content files falls outside the live area of the layout, a dialog box appears, asking: This layout contains elements outside the layout area. Are you sure you want to output the layout?  To proceed, select Output.
  2. In the Output Layout dialog box, change any of the following parameters:
    • To prevent media wastage, select the Trim layout to fit arrangement option. When you select this option the size of the layout is trimmed to equal the size of the bounding box. If you specified margins, the trimmed layout will include both the bounding box and the margins.
    • To rotate the layout, select the Rotate check box, and from the list, select the required degree of rotation (90°, 180°, or 270°).
    • To flip the layout, select the Flip check box, and from the list, select Horizontal or Vertical.
      To receive a warning message before output that you flipped a file, configure Edit > Preferences > Layout > Show warning before output if Flip is selected.
  3. Click Save.
  4. In the Save dialog box, browse to the location where you want to save the layout.
  5. To change the name of the layout, in the File name box, type a new name for the file.
  6. Click Save.
    If you selected  Edit > Preferences > Cut > Create cutting file when outputting, an additional cut file will also be output in the directory specified in Preferences > Cut > Folder.
  7. (Optional) After you output the final layout, you can use one of these methods to immediately clear all content files from the layout (but retain all marks) and continue working with the TIFF elements that are listed in the Unassigned Files list:
    • From the Modify menu, select Clear Files
    • Configure the Delete TIFF files from the disk when 'Clear Files' is selected option in Edit > Preferences > Layout.
