TIFF Assembler Plus enables you to convert a TIFF file or a set of TIFF files to a PDF file that contains geometry definitions such as a media box, a trim box, and a bleed. The resulting PDF file can be used for an imposition layout or for a step-and-repeat layout in the Kodak Preps software and the Kodak Pandora software.

To output a TIFF file as a PDF file with geometry definitions:

  1. In Edit > Preferences > PDF, select Enable PDF geometry design mode, if you have not already done so.
    When this preference is enabled,  appears in the toobar. You can also select Switch to PDF Geometry Design from the Modify menu.
  2. On the toolbar, click Open .
  3. In the Open dialog box, browse to the file that you want to open, select it, and click Open.
  4. Click Switch to PDF Geometry Design .
  5. If required, change the viewing options in the display window.
  6. If required, resize or move the trim box or media box.
  7. If required, define a bleed around the trim box.
  8. Click Output .
  9. In the Output PDF dialog box, browse to the location where you want to save the PDF file, and click Output.
