Why you should complete this activity

To build conceptual and practical knowledge of the Prinergy Workflow software, and apply this knowledge to your own prepress environment.

Target audience

  • Customer service representatives (CSR)—receive the initial order from the customer
  • Planners—estimate and build the job based on the order and the sites facilities
  • Prepress operators—work in the print shop production area, set job production details, and monitor output processing
  • Prepress system administrators—monitor the entire site's production process and manage the work load
  • Prepress managers—monitor the entire site

Time required

The Prinergy Workflow training course (onsite training or self-study training—based on regional offerings) is approximately 3 days long.

Learner prerequisites

Learners should have a good understanding of all issues related to prepress workflows, and possess advanced knowledge of the requirements specific to their own prepress environment.

Number of learners

Classroom: 6-8 per session
Onsite: 2-3 per session

Coaching skills

This description is relevant for field support specialists who support customers during Start-Up Assistance.
To coach this course effectively, you should have in-depth knowledge of Prinergy Workflow, understand electronic prepress issues and workflow, and be familiar with this training package. A Prinergy coaching session is designed to enhance product knowledge in a realistic printing environment.
